The last of the trusses are set and a lot of other work on the Friends II Cabin got completed.  We have a long way to being finished but this day of worked helped tremendously.

SpringBreakOut update

This week at camp we've had 139 campers who made up 17 work teams.  Their progress in camp has been amazing.  We still have a couple of weeks of SpringBreakOut campers that will continue on these projects.  Here's a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

Friends Weekend is one week away.  The projects are getting ready for volunteers.  We need you to help us complete these projects (or at least get them off to a good start).

Under Construction

Hello! I hope everyone is having a happy 2013!  The mountain has been blessed by all the friends that came to the gathering.  We are beyond excited with the construction going on around Camp Cumberland Pines.  In preparation for Friends Weekend, the foundation has been dug out and is ready for concrete.  Then, the rain came.  Many days have been spent draining the water and digging the mud out.  When the weather has been to bad to work in, progress has been made on the men's bathroom in Friends.  We are in the middle of hanging drywall and showers are about to be placed in.  I hope to see you at Friends weekend to help work on the brand new cabin!!
